Singapore expands VTL
As per Singapore’s travel rules, only fully-vaccinated travelers are permitted on VTL flights (exemptions for 12 years and under). Passengers must also conform to VTL regulations, including receiving a WHO EUL-approved jab at least 14 days before travel.
“With the introduction of more VTLs, combined with gradual relaxing of quarantine measures for vaccinated travelers and the transition from PCR tests to the less costly ARTs, consumer confidence is improving, and international trips are once again back on people’s radar.”
Singapore’s Ministry of Health announced changes to VTL entry requirements starting from 23.59 (SGT) on February 21st, 2022. This includes progressively increasing VTL quotas for each airline and allowing VTL flights from Hong Kong, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

11 routes are set to launch next month, with further expansion planned throughout 2022.
